I've been in travel for over 25 years — across retail, corporate, and group travel — and I still genuinely love it. Not the kind of love that fades after a decade behind a desk, but the kind that comes from watching someone land in a place they've dreamed about for years, knowing I helped get them there smoothly.
I created By Your Side Travel to make the process easier, with personal advice, thoughtful planning and support from the initial idea through to booking.
Travel is brilliant when everything goes to plan. But after 25+ years in this industry, I've learned that the real value of working with someone like me isn't just the booking — it's what happens when a flight's cancelled, a tour's rescheduled, or something doesn't match what was promised.
I have genuine, long-standing relationships with tour companies and suppliers right across the industry. Advocating for my clients — picking up the phone, pushing for the right outcome, not letting you be just another booking number — is honestly the part of this job I care most about.
